APL SAAB Specialists were founded in 1998 when SAAB
Master Technician Nigel Flemen, A.M.I.M.I., C.A.E., Eng Tech,
and SAAB After Sales Manager Ken Tomes M.I.M.I. recognised that there was a significant need for a cost effective and quality alternative to expensive SAAB main dealer service and repairs.
Initially APL concentrated solely on SAAB service and repair until in 2001 the sale of quality used SAAB's began in earnest.
Since then expansion has continued steadily, taking on extra business such as the North West regional franchise for MapTun, of Sweden, one of the worlds most accomplished tuners of SAAB automobiles as well as a dedicated SAAB showroom
